Sisi lain Bali dalam filem "40 Years of Silence: An Indonesian Tragedy"

Bali, a tranquil island paradise, is seldom associated with such brutal violence. An estimated 80,000 people, roughly 5 percent of Bali's population, were killed during Indonesia's national blood-letting that followed a 1965 failed coup allegedly organized by communist plotters. An estimated 500,000 to 1,000,000 people were killed in all over Indonesia between October 1965 and April 1966. It is one of the largest unrecognized mass killings of the 20th century.
